County Convention 2007 The Anderson County Democratic Party held its biennial convention at the Clinton High School on March 31, 2007. Every two years all Democratic Party organizations in Tennessee hold an open convention for all interested Democrats in each individual county. At the conventions the participants congregate by precinct and elect members of the executive committee (precinct representatives) and precinct chairmen for individual precincts. Then all the new members together (These constitute the Anderson County Democratic Executive Committee) elect officers of the county Democratic Party organization to serve for two year terms. At the Anderson County Convention on Saturday, the 31st, the conventioneers elected the following officers of the Democratic Executive Committee to serve until March 2009:
