Recent Events:

 On Saturday, April 2nd, the Anderson County Democratic Party met for their reorganization.   

During the convention, Jim Hackworth was elected Chairperson; Ann Mostoller, 1st Vice-Chair, Victoria Bowling, 2nd Vice Chair; Gail Martin, Treasurer; and Kelly Ayers, Secretary .

The community Precinct Chairpersons and At-Large Representatives were also elected.
Upcoming Events:

Obama Regional Field Director to Speak at Jan. 23 ACDWC Meeting

Keyla Harrison, Regional Field Director for Obama for America in East Tennessee, will discuss presidential campaign organizing efforts at the Jan. 23 meeting of Anderson County Democratic Women’s Club at the Flatwater Grill, 100 Melton Lake Dr., Oak Ridge.   The meeting begins at 6 p.m. on Monday.

Originally from Manhattan, Kan., Harrison is responsible for building teams around East Tennessee in preparation for the re-election of President Obama.  She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Operations Management and Finance.  Harrison and her husband are parents of a 20-month-old daughter.
